Crashing waves

disturbing waters

as I calmly drifted

floating, dreaming

crashing waves

smashed me against the sand

Short of breath

as I gasp for air

I feel myself drowning

in salty waters... despair

Waking from a rainbow dream

nightmares claw my skin

and I rudely awaken

to thunderstorm

amid the sea...

Tranquility has vanished

smooth sail sans ease

Crashing waves

of truths uncovered

and I struggle to lay

my mind in peace

weightlessness has left me

no longer hovering

the shore alive

Trying to anchor

my restless body

as it rains

pours and wind disturb me

on what was once

a slumbering slide

Searching for signals

on weakening radios

trying to scream

for help outside

Crashing waves have

turned me over

as I try to keep myself alive...
